Mango export prospects: Pakistan may miss Australian market

Despite a positive report forwarded by an Australian inspection team, which visited the country a few months ago, the Plant Protection department here is not issuing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the last five months, needed for finalising matters for export of mango to Australia.




Though the concerned authorities claim searching new markets for the country's products, the available opportunities were being missed due to their non-seriousness. 



The country may miss even next season of mango for export to the new market if the required SOP and related procedures were not finalised timely. 





Talking to Business Recorder, Azam Muhammad, Pakistani Counsel General in Australia, said that the positive report about the existing testing facilities like VHT plants were already forwarded to the concerned department in Pakistan a few months back. La vicepresidenta del Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE), Sandra Oblitas, informó este domingo que 100% de las mesas electorales fueron constituidas en todo el país. En la Asociación Venezolana de Mujeres, en Caracas, donde ejercen el derecho al voto 1.514 personas, dijo que desde muy tempranas horas los venezolanos salieron a sufragar en un ambiente de paz y tranquilidad.








"Hay mucha alegría y satisfacción porque desde muy temprano estamos votando. Vemos que las mesas se han constituido", expresó. Añadió que hasta los momentos no tienen reportes de fallas con el material electoral en el país.

18.9 Million Venezuelans Vote on Sunday


On Sunday as of 6:00 in the morning, over 18.9 million Venezuelan voters will go to the polls to elect a president for the 2013-2019 term.

The National Electoral Council (CNE) has opened 13,683 voting centers throughout the country so that registered voters – which account for about 97 percent of eligible adults – can exercise their right to vote.
