FIVE (5) REASONS TO SUE SPLENDID PRODUCTS, ET AL FOR FOOD SAFETY NEGLIGENCE ...

Salmonella Food Poisoning Lawsuit:
5 Reasons You Should Sue Now

Attorney Fred Pritzker and his Bad Bug Law Team help Salmonella poisoning victims and their families hold food manufacturers and restaurants accountable for selling unsafe food. Below are 5 good reasons to hire our Salmonella lawyers to file a lawsuit on your behalf:

* When a lawsuit is filed, we can get early access to relevant corporate and health department documents. Without a lawsuit, we cannot force them to share any information.

* By filing a lawsuit now, you have a better chance of getting some of the available insurance money. Food manufacturers, distributors and restaurants are required to have insurance to cover liability arising from food poisoning outbreaks. Fred has represented Salmonella victims in cases where the liable (legally responsible) company went bankrupt, limiting the amount of money available for victims and their families.

* A lawsuit sends a message that food safety should come before profit. Sadl…

Largest Multi-State Food Poisoning Outbreaks Of 2012: #3

December 29, 2012

By Carla Gillespie

A Salmonella outbreak linked mangoes imported from Mexico was the third largest multi-state food poisoning outbreak of 2012, based on the total number of people sickened. The outbreak, which was announced in August, sickened 127 people in 15 states.

The mangoes were distributed throughout the US and Canada and sold at various retail stores.

On August 29, 2012, Splendid Products of Burlingame, Calif., the US distributor, issued a recall for Daniella brand mangoes with the PLU numbers: 3114, 4051, 4311, 4584 or 4959.

The recalled mangoes were sold at various retail stores throughout the U.S.

Two weeks after the recall, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) put the Mexican supplier of the mangoes, Argicola Daniella of Sinloa, Mexico on import alert, meanin…

COLD WEATHER NOT FRIENDLY TO MANGO IMPORTS ...

IMO NOTE:

There only so many mangoes that the USA, Canadian or European  market can absorb in the winter time. And that number goes down as cold weather sets in.

Somehow everyone in the trade seems to forget that mangoes just aren't the same when room temperature goes from tropical to arctic.

Mangoes just don't continue the maturation process and the consumer takes a very big risk buying expensive mangoes that just don't eat very well.

GLOBAL WARMING: What to expect from the next big report on climate change ...

International
Warming up

Nov 21st 2012 | from The World In 2013 print edition

Cumulus conundrum

Here are two fairly safe predictions about the climate in 2013:

Unless there is a major volcanic eruption, the average global temperature will be higher than it was for all but one year in the 20th century.

And towards the end of September there will be a lot of headlines about the ever greater warming yet to come.

The first is a safe bet because average temperatures have been higher than they were for all but the very hottest year in the 20th century for the past ten years, and unless a volcano cuts the amount of incoming sunlight by spreading a thin haze of particles through the stratosphere much the same can be expected in 2013.

The second will come about because, at a meeting in Stockholm, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) will release the first tranche of the latest in its series of massive “assessment reports” on climate change.

This first bit will lay out the current sci…
