Mango board preps Retailers for continued strong volume

Based on current projections, the National Mango Board is estimating a fairly similar flow of mangoes from Mexico in the May through August timeframe. 



The projected volume for those four months is approximately 42.1 million boxes, which compares favorably to the 41.4 million boxes that were imported in 2012 from our closest southern neighbor.

Frédérine Derlot Copy arrived a year ago to the position of director of "Fruits and vegetables costs" within the International Trade Centre UN / WTO (ITC) programs.


Nestled in the heart of the city of Geneva, Switzerland, this technical cooperation agency created in 1964 is led by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the World Trade Organization (WTO). 


Its mission is to help developing economies and economies in transition, in particular their economic operators to develop their export potential.

Since our launch in January, Food Tank has worked to amplify the messages of groups working around the world to improve the food system.

The 40 organizations we're highlighting today are doing invaluable work to change the way we eat, grow, cook, buy, and sell food. Our hope is that the more people know about the work that these groups are doing, the more people can be inspired to make their own change in the food system.




We realize many, many organizations are missing from this list.
