ON A Friday evening in Onitsha, as the beer market is closing, a man carefully straps six cases of Hero lager and two cases of Pepsi to the pannier of his moped. Another rolls away his purchases by wheelbarrow. Coaches parked nearby will soon be filled with day-trippers and their cases of booze. 





Each day a vast quantity of beer is sold from this closely packed warren of stores. 





It is part of a sprawl of specialist markets in the city, a commercial hub on the Niger river, which draws in traders from across southern Nigeria.

Maersk A/S Secures USD 5.1bn Revolving Credit Facility

A.P. Møller – Maersk A/S has successfully completed a USD 5.1bn syndicated revolving credit facility with a selected group of 21 banks. 





The new facility is arranged by the company itself and refinances a USD 6.75bn facility maturing in 2015.






A.P. Møller – Maersk A/S has consequently proactively addressed the upcoming refinancing in 2015, taking advantage of current favourable conditions in the global bank loan market and reduced the financial costs.





“We have received strong support from our global relationship banks who all participate in the transaction. The facility was oversubscribed and we are very pleased with the terms and conditions of the new facility. With the new facility we have extended the maturity profile of our finance commitments, reduced cost and confirmed our global banking group,”
 says Jan B. Kjærvik, Head of Group Finance and Risk Management.














The Facility has a maturity of 5 years which may be extended by up to two years and will be used…

Óscar Iván Zuluaga Escobar es el candidato a la presidencia de Colombia por el partido Centro Democrático, se convirtió en el único rival del actual presidente de Colombia, Juan Manuel Santos al obtener la mayoría de votos en las elecciones de mayo pasado cuando alcanzó un 30% de los votos, Santos obtuvo solo un 25%, una cifra muy alejada al 70% cuando ganó la presidencia en el 2010.






Wikipedia nos dice que Óscar Iván Zuluaga Escobar nació Pensilvania, Caldas el 3 de febrero de 1959, es un economista, empresario y político colombiano. Se desempeñó como Ministro de Hacienda en el segundo período de gobierno (2006 – 2010) de Álvaro Uribe Vélez hasta su culminación el 7 de agosto de 2010.1 Ha sido concejal (1988-1990) y alcalde (1990-1992) de su municipio, Pensilvania, dirigente empresarial y gremial y Senador de la República (2002-2006). Como Senador fue cofundador del Partido de la U.
