China’s ambitions in Africa are well documented. Its annual trade with the resource-rich continent recently surpassed $200 billion, and Chinese agencies and firms have invested heavily in building badly needed roads, railways, and public buildings. Meanwhile, more than one million Chinese have reportedly left home to seek their fortunes in African nations. Those ties may be drawing China and Africa closer, but that doesn’t mean everyday Chinese understand the continent terribly well. MARTY DOWNGRADED TO TROPICAL DEPRESSION

The Storm has veered away from Mexico's mainland and is projected to head in a Northerly by Northwestern pattern ...



Yesterday morning at this time we reported that Marty had been upgraded from Tropical Storm status to Hurricane....

As of 5pm EDT ,  (Yesterday) Tuesday September 29, Marty has been downgraded to Tropical Storm status once again ...













Despite strong shear conditions, the recent convective burst has been sustained by strong upper-level difluence created by southwesterly flow over the northwestern portion of the Marty's
circulation and westerly flow over the southeastern portion of the circulation. 




However, this favorable upper-level pattern is expected to abate during the next 12 hours and be replaced by strong southwesterly unidirectional flow, which should create very
unfavorable shear conditions across the cyclone.
